What a special friend you've
been to make me grin.
When I've felt sad because things were bad,
you lifted my mood when I was stewed.
You made me happy, though not quite sappy.
You made me feel blessed because of all I possess.
Not worldly possessions I own,
but for the love of friends that don't let me be alone.
Because of friends I can now say
that everything will be okay.
I can let my cares drift away
Knowing that good friends don't let you go astray.
